I've Been Tagged.

My friend Mini tagged me for The 8 Random Things Meme!

Here are the Tag Rules:

  • Each player starts with eight random fact/habits about themselves.
  • People who are tagged need to write in their own blog about their eight things and post these rules.
  • A the end of your blog post, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
  • Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged and to read your blog.

Here we go!!!!!

  1. Mom taught me to pee on command. If she says "Go peepee Ruby" I automatically squat and tinkle.
  2. I hate velcro. If anyone comes near me with it I will snarl at them.
  3. When I'm tired, I'll follow mom around whining until she sits down so I can cuddle with her.
  4. I hardly ever bark.
  5. When I go for a walkie it takes me a half hour to get around the block. Walk, sniff, sniff, sniff, walk, walk, sniff sniff.
  6. The first night in my forever home I showed mom I had acquired a taste for my poop. (That was the first and last time I showed her that).
  7. I eat a grain free food. Innova Small Bites.
  8. I have a human sister who is a nurse. I've never met her, she's far, far away.
If you would like to do this meme, consider yourself tagged.

Love Ruby

PS Mom doesn't think the Clavamox is working. I'm still swallowing hard and the "Yuck Mouth" hasn't left me.

Dear Ruby,
Please keep taking your medicine until you complete it. Be patient, sweety. Your snaking procedure may made your throat swollen a little bit more so let it takes time to be subsided. Or to make your mom less worry, give the Vet a call to see how he thinks of it.
I like all the facts about you, # 5& 6 are so funny.
Cheers!

Hey Ruby,

Thanks for the comment on my blog!! Here is an answer to your question.

There are a couple of tricks to removing snow clumps from the paws. The easiest one is to keep the paw hair nice and short so that the snow doesn't build up in the first place. Having long paw hair doesn't actually keep the paws any warmer, it just traps snow and ice near the paw and makes it colder. So trim up that paw hair and it will really cut down on the snow clumps.

You can also use a product called "musher's wax" on the paws before going outside. It keeps the moisture away from the paws and also keeps that nasty road salt from burning the skin. It helps a little bit with preventing ice from collecting in the hair.

Good luck!!

Fun list Ruby!

We are sorry that you are not feeling better yet. Maybe it is like it is in humans. You need to take quite a few before they start to work. We hope they work soon or the vet can give you some different ones that will make you feel well.

Your pals,
Holly & Zac

Hi Ruby, we hope after this next dose of medicine you will be feeling better. Humans sometimes need more than one does of meds to get rid of bugs and infections too. Paws crossed for you!.

Yep, it is where he works, in our villiage.

The colour meme is quite fun, it is Blue next week. You could play too if you wanted to, that would be really great. Some more players would be cool. :-)

Holly & Zac
