Today is the 3rd anniversary of the day we drove to Michigan to adopt Penny.

More like freezing outside with temps in the -40C. We can only stay outside for a minute before our feet are freezing.
Winter is here and we are hibernating.

We have sent a square from the fabric that mom made our matching coats from. This fabric is warm, cuddly & looks great.
Frank, our husband also has a coat, made by our mom from this fabric.
Our mom also made coats for Ginger, Chip and Thai from the Dachsies with Moxie. The Dachsies with Moxie WHN (mom or Agnes) is making the quilt for the Pittie Pack's mom Sandra. We think this is most thoughtful and kind. You can check out Agnes's beautiful work and progress on the quilt, here.
We have also sent some squares of dachshund fabric.

Look at all the pressies that Frank sent to his wives. He really spoiled us. We had a great time synchronizing the pressie opening with Frank on Christmas Eve.
Dad B made us these special kibble knocker outer jars (complete with kibble). We have been having a great time trying to knock out the kibble or chew it out.
How wonderful is this quilt Frank had commisioned for his wives by WHN over at Dachies with Moxie. Isn't Frank handsome? We love being able to cuddle up to Frank on cold winter nights. Speaking of which, -32 C tonight. You know where you will find us - snuggled up under Frank.
Frankie, thank you so much for the candy, carpet with you on it made by Jazzi and Addy's mom and diamond butterfly necklace. I love all the gifts. You really spoiled me too. You are sweeter than all the candy in the box. Love Mom J.
Frank also sent us these beautiful new collars by Clara's Collars. Ruby's is bright yellow with pink lady bugs and Penny's is pastel yellow with pastel paw prints. We know it's kinda vain, but we have to say how smashing we look.
