Construction Work!!
The city is building a bicycle lane on both sides of our street. They will be working on this until about mid August. There has been lots of great machines and construction workers for us to bark at.

Pees - the weather here has been extremely hot. We have been seeing temps in the triple digits with the humidex. Too hot to do anything but sleep, sleep and more sleep.

Ciara was all set to head north to play in your big sandbox until you told us about your weather. We are amazed that our heat furnace has spread all the way to you too - it is just unreal!!!

Oh BOY... that is really exciting stuffs happenin on your street. So when it is finished.. your mom can get a bike and put a WAGON on the back fur you two to ride in. THAT would be a BLAST.
I feel soooo badly that you are havin the high temps too. In FACT you have it HOTTER than I do. It was only 96 with high humidity here today.
I mostly stayed inside after 10 this morning.
You girrrls stay hydrated while you snoopervise and Boss the worker guys around.

Can we just say that - even though our Dad is in construction and it pays for our treats and stuff - we're not a fan of the construction noise and mess :) At least you get some entertainment out of it, though. Hope you're doing all your barking from INSIDE your air-conditioned house! Keep cool!

Oh No ~ You are a construction zone area also. I keep barking at Duke Energy they are putting in new gas lines on my street. I worked my paws down to nubbins to have all my wonderful annual flowers. Now one of those yellow big dirt eating bugs sits in my front yard. Flowers all gone!!
