PDA - Public Dachshund Announcement

Mom has finally found us a dog food that we just gobble down like there's no tomorrow.

It is Acana Lamb & Apple Formula. Acana is a world class pet food, made from fresh regional ingredients, made right here in Canada.

ACANA’s LAMB & APPLE FORMULA is a true hypoallergenic diet featuring ranch-raised lamb as a SINGLE ANIMAL PROTEIN and steel-cut oats as a hypoallergenic, low-gylcemic and SINGLE-SOURCE of grain. Rich in protein and low in carbohydrate to match the natural diet, this exceptional recipe is free of chicken, eggs, dairy, wheat or corn—the top food allergens for diet-sensitive dogs.

We switched from Acana Pacifica a higher protein content food, because we had awful bad breath and very stinky butt air. This was caused because we we're having trouble digesting all the protein.

So far the air has been clear at our house.

We love this food and mom loves it too.

Love ya Ruby & Penny
(wives of Frankie)

How timely that you told us about this Acana food because I just finished visiting Nubbin' Tails and I learned that Ruger has been diagnosed with allergies and I'm not sure he knows what he should be eating soooo you should stop by and tell him about your amazing new meal of choice.
I am hosting a blog hop called THANKFUL FUR 3 THURSDAY and today I publically thanked 3 of my newest friends so please stop by to meet them if you can!

Oh, that food sounds great, and your mom obivously had done LOTs of work checking into your dog foods.

My momma keeps and eye on da Protein number though. We have two elder dogs in da house, and they gets one kind of food.

But I (Minna Krebs) had a very serious bout with my kidneys about a year ago.....and my momma been afraid to let my protein intakes get too high. Does your mom know if da single source high quality protein is better on da kidneys then some of da other brands??
