Daisy has left on an adventure!!

On May 24th Daisy left Thunder Bay (and us) to go on an adventure. Her, her mom (our human sister) and their kitteh Baby travelled to Takla Lake, British Columbia. Daisy's mom has taken a nursing position at the Takla Lake First Nation Reserve. The drive is about 3000 km (1865 miles) from Thunder Bay.

What's Daisy looking at?

Snow in Calgary, AB on May 29, 2010

She got to play out in the snow with her new friend Shasta.

Daisy made it to Takla Lake on June 2, 2010. (no new pictures as there is no cell service and our sister lost her camera cable). Daisy, Baby & Sara are adjusting to their new life and we our adjusting to a smaller pack.

We miss you Daisy!

Love Ruby & Penny

Pees - our kittehs Chester & Calli have started to come out of hiding. They were really scared of Daisy and hid for four months. They slept with us last night.

Dear Girrrrls, I know how sad you are that Daisy and her mom Sara have had to move soooo far from you. The kitties may be happy butt I know you two and your mom are feelin' pretty blue.
I wish I could be there to give you some extra licks and wags and cuddles.
Your sister is going to make a WONDERFUL nurse for two leggers. MUCH better than being a VET I'm thinkin'.

I am really really lovin' my Duck Jerky!!! You two can really cook. I pawmise that I am taking very much grrrreat care with my beefer stuffie. I took my evening nap with him last night. I am keeping my sailor hat in the drawer of my rollie around dresser thingy so it won't get dirty.
My dad says that he used to put his hats on string and drag them off the side of the ships beclaws salty water made them white. Butt I don't have salty water here.
Hey... guess what TV commercial won the big prize??? It was for OLD SPICE... which is my favorite flavor of smelly stuffs. It is for us Sailor Guys. That's why I like it soooo much. My dad even has some of that for taking a... SHOWER (BAH) with. Butt mom won't let me use it. DOUBLE BAH.
I miss you and I love you. Kiss your mom a bunch, OK???
Love X's 2

Dear Ruby, Penny, and mom
I know Sara's growing up and moving is most difficult. But I haves da suspicioan that mom raised a bright beautiful daughter and she will be missed terribly. I'm just all kinds of glad that ya'll gots to spend lots and lots of time with ya'll before she gots to go make her mark on da world. And I do believe she will do a fine job.
I sure hopes hers can find a way to send piktures...we haves to check in with hers and Daisy...I'm gonna miss that doggie.

Hey friends. Miss Daisy sounds like she is having so much fun. I think if I saw snow at the end of May I would cry, but Smokes would love it!
Have fun!
