Penny and the Car Beast

Because I am very scared and nervous when in the car, Mom has been practicing with me. We sit in the car for awhile, then start the car, then go up & down the driveway, then around the block. Today is the first day that I didn't get all freaked out. Usually my tongue hangs down to my chest and I feel like I might hyperventilate or throw up.

Don't I look pretty calm.

My goal is to eventually do this when I ride in the car.

Love Penny & Ruby

what sweet faces:)

yup, it just takes time. Winston used to throw up whenever he was in the car for longer than maybe half an hour? Now he doesn't mind it at all. You're getting there - your mommy is sweet to help you out with it a little bit at a time like that.

Awww, poor Penny. We think maybe Mom should try taking you to McDonald's to share a small burger or a few fries. That would sure boost the car confidence! The smells in the drive-thru are pure heaven.

Love,
Joey and Maggie....
