Construction Work Part 2

We have been watching the construction of the bicycle lanes going on, on our street.

The curber came by and gave us brand new curbs. A very neat machine. The cement mixer fills the curber up with cement and out pops the curb from the back of the curber. The construction workers scurry after the machine to smooth it with brushes and then spray it with white paint. Be sure to biggify the pictures. You will be pleasantly surprised at who wears the white hard hat(crew supervisor/foreman)for this job.

Those things can be pretty fascinating during a quiet day. Construction in general is interesting - from the people busy at work, to the machines and tools being used, and the materials transforming into something else. Yep, watching something being built is fun in its own way.
